Recently, we received a very interesting new frame.
It's called VENDETTA BIKE, a fixed gear brand from Peru. We’ve actually been carrying their products for about a year. This time, we’d like to introduce a custom bike built using a special frame we commissioned from them: the VENDETTA TripleT BROTURES Edition.
If you're curious about the frame itself, we covered it in detail in a previous blog post. Feel free to check it out!
Since this is a BROTURES exclusive model, we went all out and poured all of our bike customization experience into this one build.
As we mentioned in our previous blog post about the frame, the geometry is specifically designed for city riding, so we built this custom bike to truly perform in an urban environment.
The concept was to combine maneuverability and acceleration for urban riding by pairing a riser handlebar with aggressively shaped carbon wheels. When people hear "city bike," comfort often takes priority over speed. This custom bike is built to be both street-smart and performance-driven. The frame itself is high-quality, so of course, it deserves an assembly that brings out its full potential. Every component was chosen with a clear purpose and a strong sense of detail.
Anyway, let’s start with the cockpit area.
RITCHEY WCS C220 STEM
For the handlebar, I used our original titanium handlebar. In recent years, titanium has been gaining more and more recognition in the cycling industry. We've also started handling small batches of titanium frames, but rather than just sourcing titanium products, we began producing our own titanium components.
We chose the RITCHEY stem, also known the reliable brand. RITCHEY components offer a big advantage even on track bikes, well known and loved by riders in the MTB and off-road scenes. The grips are made by IOMIC, a Japanese brand known for quality. Despite their slim silhouette, they provide excellent grip. Their stylish appearance has also made them a popular choice for riders using riser bars.
I picked the headset from Wolf Tooth. While this brand is better known in the MTB scene, it's rare to see on fixed gear builds. Personally speaking, I'm a big fan of Wolf Tooth because I use their headset and seat clamp on my own track bike. Finding and incorporating part that aren't typically used by others i on of the true joys of customizing a fixed gear bike.
WTB Gravelier Cromoly
RITCHEY COMP ZERO
I went with the RITCHEY's product in the seatpost just like the stem. In our experience, matching the stem and seatpost from the same brand tends to make the overall build look cleaner and more cohesive. The saddle is from WTB, a model designed with gravel and long-distance riding in mind. It provides excellent comfort, even during extended rides, by reducing pressure on your sit bones.

I also featured this wheel set in a previous custom Detroit build, but I think it works great for urban riding as well.
Actually, it's high spec wheels, but it's perfectly suited for everyday street use because of a wide rims and excellent durability. For the tires, we went with the affordable and rugged Break Through. These are made to be ridden hard—we want you to skid on them as much as you like. Of course, they also offer solid grip, so don’t hesitate to lean into those corners out on the street.

For the drivetrain, I decided to use BROTURES components.
I installed the newly released Chrome-Plated version of the BEAT Crank. It's a high-quality, cost-effective crankset that we recently featured in a blog post, so if you're interested, be sure to check it out.
I also want to introduce another new release: our toe clips. This time, I went with black, but they come in a variety of colors so you can add a splash of style to your ride from the ground up.
This custom build was guided by a few clear concepts.
For example, I decided to stick with American component brands, and I chose to use BROTURES parts for the bottom line—the drivetrain and wheels. The unique frame silhouette reminds me of classic GT frames, so personally, I didn’t want to include any European components in this build. And since this frame is a BROTURES-exclusive model, I felt it made sense to represent our own brand through the parts as well.
When building a frame, having a central concept or “core” to your build makes a big difference. It not only looks more cohesive, but also lets you confidently say, “This is why I chose these parts.” That’s what makes a true custom build.
No problem if You don't have deep technical knowledge to build a bike like this. Even a vague image or feeling is enough. Our team of experienced mechanics will help turn your idea into a real.
