CONCEPT

"Play Pop"

In the surf-skate culture scene that emerged on the West Coast in the 1970s, one can't help but wonder: What if fixed gear bikes existed in that era? BLANKS was born from such musings, incorporating designs that pay homage to the vibe of that time and place.

HISTORY

"The History and Journey of Local Bikes"

  • The Birth of Local Bikes

In 2017, Salvador Lombroso, the founder of LEADER, launched his private brand in Los Angeles, USA. Focused on creating affordable fixed gear bikes from a rider's perspective.

  • Release of the first model, "ELYSIAN"

The model is derived from Elysian Park, which overlooks downtown Los Angeles from the north. It features a 6061 aluminum frame and carbon fork, offering a simple yet tough commuter bike that eliminates unnecessary elements to the extreme.

  • Release of the second model, "METRO"

The second model, Metro, features a slim chromoly frame with slightly wider tire clearance, expanding its versatility from commuting to tricks, track cycling, and more.

  • Release of the third model, "BLANKS"

With the desire to make fixed gear biking more accessible, the conscientious pricing remains unchanged, while additional features such as wider tire clearance and mounting holes for accessories like skate racks have been added from its predecessor, "METRO."
