By BROTURES BEAT CRANK SET

A crankset for fixed-gear bikes that only BROTURES can create

SUGINO 75, SRAM OMNIUM, MICHE, ROTOR, Campagnolo—
BROTURES takes pride in having handled more cranksets for fixed-gear bikes than anyone else in the world.
After two years of development, we've used all that knowledge and experience to create the ideal crankset, incorporating only the best aspects of previous designs.
This is not meant for the track—it's the culmination of our pursuit to create a crankset perfectly suited for the street.

Durability reigns supreme on the streets

In the market, "good cranksets" are often equated with racing specs.
But when it comes to street riding, toughness is just as important as performance.
No matter how fast you can ride, if the crankset requires delicate adjustments or frequent maintenance, it becomes a hassle to use.
This is where BROTURES' priorities lie. We started by focusing on ensuring ease of maintenance and expandability for street rides.
Instead of a traditional three-piece square taper, we opted for a direct-mount crank where both arms are directly connected.
With a single-bolt design, it minimizes wobbling and loosening based on our experience.

The included bottom bracket is highly compatible

The included bottom bracket is compatible with BSA 68mm frames and uses a 24mm spindle, adhering to Shimano standards.
When upgrading your BB, you’ll have a wide variety of options from third-party brands like Phil Wood or WISHBONE.
We've paid meticulous attention to the length of the included BB and spindle, down to the millimeter, ensuring compatibility with most frames (though there are a few exceptions).

High-response initial acceleration

Just as much care went into the choice of materials as it did into toughness.
Initial acceleration is a key factor in street riding, which involves frequent stop-and-go movement.
To convert as much of your leg power as possible into forward momentum, we've used the high-strength aluminum alloy 7075.

The shaft is made from high-hardness steel.
As it bears the brunt of your pedal force, we used a special hardening process to maximize strength, minimizing power loss in the process.

The crankset responds smoothly, making it easy to control subtle pedal pressure in busy, information-rich urban environments. Its quick reaction when the light turns green and the lightness of initial acceleration are standout features of this crank.

Additionally, the included chainring is not just a bonus. Like the crank arms, it's made from 7075 aluminum for added rigidity. The reduced power loss during pedaling might make it feel lighter even with the same gear ratio.

Completely original design

The BEAT is relatively affordable for a direct-mount crankset.
However, it’s not just an OEM part with a logo slapped on.
To achieve these exacting standards, we designed everything from the mold upwards, and we’re confident it compares favorably with other brand-name direct-mount cranksets.

With rising costs, customizing cranksets has become less affordable. However, we didn’t want to create something that's just cheap. That’s why BROTURES developed this item, keeping the price as low as possible while still confidently offering a product we can proudly recommend.
